I have Bajaj induction cooker of 2000w. And when this is turning on, the fuse is blowing off with a blast sound. I connected to try with another fuse, but the result was all the same.
I opened and checked, and the next time the IGBT blown. What will be the problem? Please tell a solution
i replaced the old fuse with not the original rating fuse, but i did it with higher rating for checking only - the value of the fuse is unknown because it is old - i did not check for the coil yet - how can i check the coil for short circuit -
The fuse you used should have been of higher rating. Anyway replace the fuse with actual rating and now that your IGBT is damaged you have to replace it as well.
To check the coil you can start with physical examination. Clean it and check for any visual damages or burns with could have damaged the insulation and create a short.
If you have a spare coil from some other cooktop, then the best way is to replace it on the damaged one and check if the fuse still blows

i have no spare coil in my hand - i have checked the coil - it measures approx 1 or 2 ohms in the ohm meter - i think there is no short circuit - and i replaced the IGBT - and checked the induction cooker without connecting the coil - i only connected the front panel, and the fan - i did not connect the thermistor - and without coil it is working - i heard a beep sound - and the front panel light is on - but i did not on the push button - will there any problem?

PermalinkDid the new fuse had the same rating as our old one? In case if it was higher than your old (default) fuse value then this is what could have happened.
Initially there should have been some short circuit in the induction coil part which should have sourced more current through the IGBT this the current rating is going high the fuse should have blown to prevent the IGBT from getting damaged.
Now since you have replaced the fuse with a higher rating the IGBT must have been subjected to more current and thus damaging itself.
Initially did you fuse blow instantaneously as soon as you power on? If yes I suspect a direct short on your coil part. The best thing to do now is replace the fuse of proper rating and replace the IGBT and test the induction stove with a some other coil if you have laying around
